March is Community Social Services Awareness Month!

Can you imagine?

Communities where all people, especially our most vulnerable, can get the support they need, when they need it?

We can.

Every day, Community Social Services workers help people deal with life’s challenges. We know how much these services matter. They make us all stronger.

March is Community Social Services Awareness month!

Community Social Services Awareness month is a province-wide effort to raise awareness about the vital role of community social services play in our communities – by taking the message out to communities across British Columbia!

Activities include:

The CSSBA and community social services locals from all unions in the sector will be working with others to organize activities to raise community awareness in and around March. Some of these activities may be planned in your community, such as information booths and displays in public locations.

On Saturday, March 26, the campaign is producing a walk and rally in Victoria in support of community social services. And look for newspaper ads in publications across the province throughout the month of March.
